Blomberg Beko 4874960100 Water Filter Replacement (1 Pack)

The 4874960100 water filter is a standard carbon block taste and odour filter, designed to remove chlorine, dissolved organics, and particulates. It is compatible with various Beko, Blomberg, and Lamona fridge freezer models, including Beko Fridge Freezer: GNE134605FX, GNE13462OX, GNE60520DX, GNE V322 X, GNE V321 APX, GNE V320 APS, GL32APB, GNE V320 S, Blomberg Fridge Freezer: KFD9952PXD, and Lamona Fridge Freezer: HJA6110, LAM6100.

The filter has a minimum operating temperature of 0.6°C (33°F) and a maximum operating temperature of 37.8°C (100°F). It can withstand a minimum working pressure of 25 psi (172 kPa) and a maximum working pressure of 125 psi (862 kPa). The flow rate is 0.5 gpm (1.89 lpm).

The filter is chemical/mechanical and has a lifespan of 6 months or 300 gallons (1136 litres), whichever comes first, depending on water quality. The dimensions of the filter are 4.2cm (Diameter) x 17cm (Length).

To install the new filter, follow these steps:

1. On models without a replacement indicator light, apply the month sticker to the new cartridge and mark your calendar to remind you to replace the filter after six months.
2. Press the push button to open the filter cover.
3. Pull the old cartridge upward to remove and discard.
4. With the new cartridge in the horizontal position, push the cartridge into the manifold hold until it stops.
5. Remove the protective cap from the end of the new cartridge.
6. Push the filter cover downward until it clicks into place.
7. Run water from the dispenser for 6-8 minutes (about 3-4 gallons) to clear the system and prevent sputtering.
8. On models with a replacement indicator light, press and hold the RESET WATER FILTER PAD on the dispenser.

The new style 4874960100 filter is suitable for Beko fridges using the longer style cartridge, as it is easily identifiable by the head type, which has two large 'wing' type keyways on either side of the head. This fridge filter is sometimes used for Lamona or Blomberg filters as well.
